Treasurer Penny Huff added that county sales tax receipts are insufficient to replace ad valorem revenue, underscoring the fiscal constraints affecting local services and road maintenance.
Stinson thanked Bolay for introducing himself and wished him luck in the upcoming election. The candidate's remarks were recorded in the meeting minutes but did not prompt formal action by the board.
