Linderman said the consolidated planning committee reviewed the applications in December and provided a recommendation list; the board was presented with 21 recommended projects spanning public services, facility and infrastructure work. She noted the county published two public notices in January, a 30-day public comment period ended the day before the meeting and that no public comments were received on the draft annual action plan.
Commissioners asked whether the recommended projects align with the county's consolidated plan and Linderman said she maintains a matrix showing how projects meet the consolidated plan goals, confirming the recommended projects prioritize public infrastructure and services.
No formal action was taken at the presentation; the board will consider action consistent with HUD timing and the board's usual schedule.
