The Mesa County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 24 approved routine business including a seven-item consent agenda, a liquor-license transfer to Happy Goat Superstore LLC and the Board of Human Services draft minutes from Feb. 17.
The board described the consent agenda as noncontroversial and approved it by voice vote, motion carries 2 to 0. Bobby Gross, Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, presented the liquor-license transfer for Happy Goat Superstore LLC at 2998 North Avenue in Grand Junction and said the applicant "has met all the local agencies' requirements" and that all fees had been paid; there were no conditions. The board approved the license transfer by voice vote, motion carries 2 to 0.
While the board recessed to sit as the Mesa County Board of Human Services, it approved one consent-item (draft minutes from Feb. 17) by voice vote. The Board of County Commissioners then reconvened and adjourned the meeting.
