County legal counsel was present and provided instruction on the scope of the session and the requirement that advice-seeking legal discussions need not be recorded. After the executive session concluded, board staff said, "No adoption of any proposed policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation, or formal action occurred during the executive session." The board then returned to regular session and the chair announced Janine Fry has expressed interest in serving as vice chair; members were reminded officer votes will occur at the next board meeting.
