Chad Weinbrenner, deputy account administrator, told commissioners the county previously used two separate fuel-card lines totaling $65,000 ($35,000 on United Bank and $30,000 on BP cards) and asked to migrate fully to the United Bank Fleet card and make a permanent credit-line increase to $100,000. Weinbrenner said the county assigns about 135 fleet cards to county vehicles and that the higher credit line would provide a monthly cushion against volatile fuel prices so vehicles are not declined at point of sale.
Commissioners moved and approved the credit-line increase by voice vote. One commissioner was recorded as noting an opposition (identified in the meeting audio as “Heather”); the meeting recorded the item as adopted and did not publish a roll‑call tally in the minutes.
