League says Spencer has completed Black Mountain software conversion; training and support continue

Etheridge described modules converted (general ledger to a uniform chart of accounts, payroll, bank reconciliation and positive‑pay fraud protection) and ongoing support including an AIM (Accounting Instruction Mentorship) manual, 'lunch and learn' trainings, and direct help from League accounting staff.
Board members asked whether the League’s program was winding down; the League said funding runs through 2026 and they are pursuing additional funding to continue the program beyond the current grant period. Town staff and board members praised the finance team for successful conversion and training participation.
The presentation emphasized increased audit readiness, consistency across municipalities using the standard chart of accounts, and continued access to League support while the town assumes ongoing licensing costs after the third year.
