Bradford County approves bids, contracts and leases including correctional medical services and Verizon tower lease

Bradford County Commissioners on March 12 approved a set of procurement and contract actions covering infrastructure, public safety, administrative equipment and conservation support.
By unanimous motions the board authorized the Chief Clerk to advertise for bids to pave the Courthouse parking lot and to advertise for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement Program Modification Request. Commissioners also approved an agreement with Clearfield Jefferson Primary Care Associates to provide medical services at the Bradford County Correctional Facility and renewed a lease with First Choice for the postage machine at Bradford County Human Services at a fee of $250 quarterly.
Additional contract approvals recorded in the minutes include: a yearly inspection agreement for Cooks Pond Dam with Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, LLC for a fee of $1,200.00; a Verizon Wireless lease authorizing tower use for $2,250 monthly; and an agreement with Emergency Insight Group LLC to modernize and strengthen training, onboarding and operational documentation within Bradford County Department of Public Safety 911.
Commissioners also approved a Letter of Support for Endless Mountains Heritage Region's application to the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Community Conservation Partnerships Program. All of the recorded procurement motions were approved by unanimous vote as shown in the minutes.

The paving bid advertisement and CDBG modification authorization direct the Chief Clerk to begin procurement advertisement processes rather than awarding a contract at this meeting.
