Resident urges trustees to inspect retention-pond design before Nexus 42 vote

Glass said she has met with Butler County engineer Eric Pottinger and served on her neighborhood HOA board, including three years as president. She warned that the configuration in her neighborhood could mirror what is proposed at Nexus 42 and said excavation access constraints could make future repairs expensive for homeowners.
Chair acknowledged the comment and said the board had "already looked into that" and suggested subdivisions coordinate with HOAs; no technical remediation plan or follow-up date for a staff report was offered on the record. The board noted the Nexus 42 item is scheduled for May 12 and thanked Glass for raising the issue.
