The board also approved multiple requisitions (agenda items 8–14) including $15,694.27 to FPT Gibbons LLP for legal services and a first full renewal of an upgraded cybersecurity/endpoint protection package, $32,748.25 to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office for annual radio maintenance (covering communications for police, fire and services), $50,725 to Mid Miami Roofing for replacement of Station 74’s flat roof after years of repairs, and smaller contracts for sidewalks and storm‑water repair. Staff said three bids were obtained for the roof work and that several items came in significantly under budgeted amounts.
Trustees asked whether the cybersecurity renewal represents an ongoing annual cost; staff confirmed it is an annual expense and that the township invested in a more robust adaptive protection after a prior data incident. For the larger requisitions and hires the board recorded roll call votes in the affirmative.
