Trustees approve several requisitions and intergovernmental agreement for Tylersville–Pepper Pike signal

The West Chester Township Board of Trustees on Oct. 28 approved a set of requisitions above $7,500 (items 4–10) and an intergovernmental agreement to fund and install a traffic signal at the Voice of America Metropark entry at Tylersville and Pepper Pike.
Miss Poynter (Administration) summarized the requisitions. Highlights included $100,177.99 to Prosper on Top for legal services; $11,113.20 to MP Digital LLC for user licenses for LaserPhish (an enterprise content manager and workflow automation platform the township uses for agenda management and other workflows); $33,247 to Capital Line Builders to install preemption equipment at I‑75 north and south intersections at Cincinnati Dayton Road (CIP 2090); and fire-related purchases including $13,907.91 to Kenwood Dealer Group for a diesel particulate filter repair and $12,574.96 to Vogelpohl Fire Equipment for hose and standpipe kits. The board also approved $9,499.80 for snowplow parts and $8,000 to Butler Tech Career Development Schools to cover two CDL training slots ($4,000 per person).
The trustees moved and seconded approval of items 4–10 and, after a brief clarification that the CDL training covers two employees, approved the items by roll call.
Miss Poynter then presented Item 11, an intergovernmental agreement among West Chester Township, the Butler County Board of Commissioners, and the Board of Park Commissioners of Metro Parks of Butler County to install a new traffic signal at Tylersville and Pepper Pike (the Voice of America Metropark entry). "The agreement establishes a partnership between Westchester Township, Butler County, and Metroparks to fund and install a new traffic signal," she said, and noted that the township will lead coordination and handle payments with reimbursement from partners.
Trustees discussed pedestrian access and whether sidewalks or crosswalks are included. Officials said crosswalks are being considered as part of the intersection work, but sidewalks from the south side of Tylersville (near Kohl's) to Pepper Pike are not part of this agreement. Trustees approved the intergovernmental agreement by motion and roll call.
No detailed funding split or final construction timetable was provided in the meeting; Miss Poynter said the agreement may remain in effect until project completion and full reimbursement.
