The Alliance Civil Service Commission unanimously approved minutes from its July 9 and July 28 meetings during its Aug. 19 session.
Secretary Candice Martin confirmed that the Assistant Fire Chief exam is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center and that sergeant promotional oral boards will be held Sept. 11–12. She said the commission must rule on protests before grading the sergeant exam and that Clancy has provided an opinion; once scantron scores return the commission may need a special early-September meeting to grade and issue letters.
With no further business, the commission adjourned at 1:15 p.m. and scheduled a special meeting for Aug. 27, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Administration Building to address outstanding grading and notification tasks.
