At its Sept. 16 meeting the Alliance Civil Service Commission tabled a proposed revision to the civil service rules.
Chairperson Renee Young moved to table the revision and Commissioner Matt Mohr seconded; the motion passed. Young said the rules revision would be held over. Secretary Candice Martin told the commission that Clancy and Associates had not yet submitted oral-board scores for the Sergeant promotional process and that those scores typically take about one to two weeks to be delivered.
The commission did not take further action on the rule revision at the meeting. The topic may return for discussion once Clancy submits the outstanding oral-board scores.
