The Alliance Civil Service Commission approved minutes from Aug. 19 and Aug. 27, 2025, and authorized payment for an invoice from Clancy and Associates for the Assistant Fire Chief promotional exam during its Sept. 16 meeting in Alliance.
Commissioner Matt Mohr moved to approve the minutes and later moved to approve the Clancy and Associates invoice; Chairperson Renee Young seconded both motions and each was approved. Secretary Candice Martin noted correspondence that included the invoice and an email from Officer Christian Tussey. The meeting record did not include the invoice dollar amount.
The commission recessed into an executive session later in the meeting to discuss grading and letters related to promotional exams. The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 14, 2025.
