Representative Knox asked whether quasi‑state entities (continuums of care, housing authorities) would be included; Gold and Mitzi Hoheiser, deputy director at the Department of Health, said the compact is intended for state departments, not quasi‑state agencies. Representative Baral expressed support and moved favorable; the committee reported SB 233 favorable.
