WCCB declines to fill part-time coordinator, places performance reviews on April agenda; routine motions carried

At the March 12 Washington County Conservation Board meeting Executive Director Zach Rozmus and Activities Director Randi Brase reported that after interviewing several applicants the department decided not to offer the Part-Time Center Coordinator position to any candidate. Rozmus also said performance reviews had been on hold during his absence for a family matter and that he hoped to complete reviews by the April board meeting.
The board carried several routine motions: Kim Prier moved to approve the meeting agenda (seconded by Bill Nickell) and the motion carried unanimously; Bill Nickell moved to approve the February 11, 2026 regular meeting minutes (seconded by Kim Prier) and the motion carried unanimously. At the close of the meeting Kim Prier moved to adjourn (seconded by Bill Nickell) and the motion carried; the meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
Monthly staff reports from Ranger/Operations Supervisor Cody Smith, Ranger/Patrol Sergeant Brett Johnson, Ranger/Technician Seth Adam, Maintenance Technician Jacob Adrian, Activities Director Randi Brase, Naturalist Megan Jorgensen and Executive Director Zach Rozmus were provided and reviewed by the board as part of routine business.
