The Forest Park Village Council on March 14 tabled a resolution to award a contract for the 510 Displayplains green parking lot project until its May 23 meeting to allow time to hear back on a pending WRDA grant application.
During consideration of unfinished business, Commissioner Vogue noted prior discussions with staff and the possibility of delaying the vote until the village learns whether the grant application is successful. "I'd like to make a motion to uh table this until the uh May 23rd council meeting," Vogue said. Commissioner Maxim seconded the motion. The council conducted a roll-call vote with all members recorded in favor; the motion to table passed. Council members noted a target of deciding before June.
The tabling postpones any contract award and directs staff to return the item to the May 23 agenda with an update on grant status. No alternative proposals or amendments were offered during the discussion.
