Councilman Nolan (speaker 10) moved to award the bid to Mel Clark Incorporated for $556,755; the motion was seconded and the council approved the award by voice vote.
Staff said the project will be done in phases, starting at the taxiway out to the runway and extending north to the end of the first hangars and in front of the fuel station; some BIL money will be reserved for a later phase if oil price or other costs change.
