The council also awarded the St. Helens dock rail replacement project (Project M544) to Iron Works as the lowest responsive bidder for $71,263.44 and approved an agreement with 'More Power' for information-technology services. Both measures were moved, seconded and approved by recorded ayes.
Council introduced Ordinance 3323 for first reading; the ordinance would amend Chapters 2.08 and 17.36 and create a new chapter concerning the Planning Commission and Historic Landmarks Commission operational regulations. The ordinance was presented as a first reading only and requires return for further action.
Votes at the meeting were recorded by name during roll call. The contracts and resolution are effective as authorized, and staff were authorized to sign the contract and agreement as read.
