Washington County approves $154,262 in warrants, accepts Comfort Zone HVAC quote and signs ballot scanner order

Commissioner Jim Harberd moved and the Board unanimously approved issuing the $154,262.47 warrants. The meeting record shows Harberd also moved approval of a $102.95 mileage reimbursement payable to Stephanie Britton, which the Board approved.
On procurement, the Board reviewed two quotes for a new HVAC unit for the Exhibit Hall: Comfort Zone ($14,026.84) and American Rooter & Drain ($21,622.41). Commissioner Nate Marvin moved, seconded by Jim Harberd, to accept the Comfort Zone quote, and the motion carried.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Jerod Odoms presented an Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions, Inc. piggy-back quote (with Power County) for chip-seal oil; Commissioner Jim Harberd moved to approve the Ergon piggy-back quote and the Board approved the action.
In election equipment business, Jim Harberd signed a previously approved Sales Order Agreement with ES&S (Election Systems and Software) for a DS300 ballot scanner.
These approvals were recorded as motions in the minutes and carried without dissent.
