The Scott County Board of Zoning Appeals convened at 6:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026. The chair opened the meeting and asked members to introduce themselves. Stacy Turner identified herself as director and Carl Gin as attorney; Jonathan White, Greg Hicks, John Hower and Gary Green identified themselves as members.
The board voted to adopt the minutes from its previous meeting "as presented." A motion to adopt the minutes was made and seconded; the board approved the motion by voice vote, with members responding "I." No roll-call tally was recorded on the transcript.
Board members then discussed scheduling for the November meeting calendar. With no cases before the board that night, participants said the only scheduling decision required was whether to meet on the county'designated metrics day. The board indicated it did not want to meet on Nov. 11 (metrics day) and voiced a preference for holding its November meeting on Nov. 18 instead. The group agreed to recommend Nov. 18 and to finalize the date with the APC.
With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting was closed shortly after 6:00 p.m.
The board did not take any quasi-judicial actions or hear cases at this meeting; the scheduling preference will be coordinated with the APC for final placement on the calendar.
