Board members requested more detail after noticing a general‑fund debt‑service line listed at 107% of budgeted use; finance staff said they would follow up with explanations about payment cycles and provide more detail to the board.
Separately, the board approved a first read and immediate adoption (waiving a second read) of a policy (BDDH1) to add a formal moment of recognition at regular meetings to honor deceased individuals connected to the district; the policy will include a submission process for names.
