On 20 Old Warf, the transcript shows the applicant’s agent withdrew a request that would have allowed a work barge to sit on the bottom at any part of the tide cycle; instead, operations will follow standard harbor-master-authorized procedures (come in on high tide, depart on low tide). The police marine unit reported routine preparations for the season and that water temperature is approximately 38°F.
Chair Steve announced he would step out and hand the gavel to a commissioner for the remainder of the meeting. Chairman Mangles of the Harbor Management Commission attended as a guest and said the Harbor Commission had approved 20 Old Warf under the condition that the barge not sit on the bottom; he also said Harbor Commission volunteers, including Boy Scout troop 222, will help with an upcoming Grassy Island cleanup.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded; the chair noted the commission needs to schedule its biannual spring gathering. The meeting concluded thereafter.
