The easement excludes the school’s sidewalk, which the district will continue to maintain.
Staff said the school board would consider the easement the next day and, once executed and recorded, the city will proceed with advertising and award one construction contract that bundles the three projects. Council approved staff’s recommendation by roll call and thanked the engineering team for their sequencing to avoid student impacts.
