Separately, the board accepted gifts reported during the meeting: Cairo's In Motion donated aircast ankle boots (valued at $600) and a pair of aluminum crutches (valued at $50) to the athletics department, and Sugar Creek Lutheran Church donated $2,000 to the school lunch program. A motion to accept the gifts was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
