Benton County approves amended HOPE Advisory Board bylaws

The Benton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved amended bylaws for the Home Opportunity Planning and Engagement (HOPE) Advisory Board at its Nov. 17 meeting. Staff said the revised bylaws reflect feedback from the board and County Council and align the HOPE advisory structure to allow the board to operate in a more operational and coordination role.
A county representative said the county attorney reviewed and approved the bylaws before the board considered them. Commissioners praised the clarity of the revised document and noted the City Council had complimented the county's work on the HOPE initiative.
Commissioner Shepard moved to approve the amended bylaws; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
