Fallbrook school districts tell parents to update contact info, follow official social channels during emergencies

She also urged families to follow official district social media channels and websites for immediate updates when phone contact may not be possible.
Garza Gonzalez said the district serves about 1,900 high‑school students on campus during school hours and that reunification and shelter operations require accurate parent/guardian contact data. She encouraged patience if parents cannot get immediate phone answers during an incident because staff will be attending to students' needs first.
District representatives were available at the symposium to help residents confirm contact details and discuss evacuation logistics.
