Committee members also announced a QR barcode to sign residents up for reverse 911 notifications and asked council members to help distribute the code and encourage neighbors to sign up. The council scheduled further committee work and outreach to ensure the kits are distributed with accompanying education.
No budget appropriation was made at the meeting; the committee will meet again to finalize quantities and distribution methodology.
