Committee members proposed two field visits to observe alternative and continuous learning programs: Kershaw County's Continuous Learning Center and Newbridge Academy (Lexington). Dr. Scott said she would like to attend and asked staff to propose a few morning dates, preferably two weeks after spring break, and indicated she would be flexible if the committee wished to do both visits on a single day.
Staff said they will reach out to hosts, schedule the visits and prepare a report or debrief to present at the next committee meeting. The committee expects the next meeting to be a debrief of those visits.
