GPAC seeks transparent log of comment decisions as staff prepares near-final drafts

Staff explained they are compiling survey responses and written comments, organizing them by element, and will review each item internally with county departments to determine whether a change should be made. Staff said they will aim to provide GPAC a near-final draft for review prior to Planning Commission (August) and Board hearings (September).
Committee members requested a simple log showing each comment, whether it was accepted, rejected or deferred, and the rationale for the decision. Several members said that record would allow GPAC to follow up on disputed edits or provide clarifying language ahead of hearings. Staff agreed to attempt to provide such documentation where feasible and to notify GPAC when the revised drafts are released.
