Ada County procurement reported March 10 that eight firms submitted proposals in response to RFP 26024 to update the county's comprehensive plan. The proposals announced by procurement were Clearwater Financial LLC; House Seal Lavine Associates; JUB; Kimley Horn; Logan Simpson; MIG Incorporated; Provos Pritchard Consulting Group; and Turquoise America LLC.
Procurement staff asked the Board to table final ranking and award until the April 7 open-business meeting to allow staff time to evaluate proposals. "We will need a little time to evaluate these proposals and we'd like to request this be tabled for final ranking and award recommendation to the April 7th, 2026 open business meeting," procurement said. The Board voted to table the RFP to April 7.
Why this matters: the comprehensive plan will guide Ada County land use and long-range policy; the selection of a consulting team will shape the scope, public engagement, and technical analysis for the update to the 2016 plan. Staff indicated a full evaluation and recommendation will be returned to the Board on April 7 for final action.
