Schley County discusses animal-control issues and mobile spay/neuter clinic option

At the Sept. 16 meeting, Chelsey Gibbs presented information to the Schley County commissioners about animal-control challenges in the county and expressed interest in improving services.
Gibbs described a mobile veterinary clinic that offers spaying and neutering and said the clinic can come to the county if the county provides a location and insurance. Douglas Jamieson said he would find out whether the county can provide the required insurance to host such a clinic.
