Stanley proposed continuing a lease with Clough Cattle for an initial 18‑month term to preserve activity and oversight on the property until longer-term plans are finalized. Legal Counsel Kathryn Winn reported staff completed a recent survey to address a minor legal‑description issue, is coordinating with the title company on tax‑payoff procedures, and has a draft lease in place with the cattle operator.
The conveyance and lease documents will be brought forward for approval at the next regular board meeting. The study session recorded board members expressing support and no concerns; the formal resolution and closing paperwork were described as pending actions to be finalized at the upcoming meeting.
