Council accepts sewer and gas extensions tied to Taco Bell development

The Navasota City Council on March 9 approved Resolution 824-26 to accept sewer and natural gas main extensions installed as part of the Taco Bell development’s frontage work.
Luke Vidostado, the city’s development services director, told the council the project required roughly 1,000 linear feet of sewer main and about 500 feet of natural gas main. He said the improvements were constructed and inspected in accordance with city standards and offered for formal public dedication.
Councilmember Mr. Holtz moved to approve Resolution 824-26; Mr. Folultz seconded the motion. The council voted in favor by voice vote with no oppositions announced.
Vidostado noted the gas extension ties into infrastructure extended from a nearby hotel project and that no water main extension was required for this Taco Bell site because existing water mains could serve the development.
