Council then adopted a resolution recognizing March as Women’s History Month and a separate proclamation for International Transgender Day of Visibility, which the mayor said signals the town’s support for inclusion and recognition of community members’ civic contributions. The council bundled the proclamations and accepted them in a single motion.
