Ventnor City swears in a fire lieutenant and two police officers

The Ventnor City Commission unanimously adopted three resolutions promoting department personnel and administered oaths of office for the appointees.
Resolution 25-376 appointed Vince Grenice as fire lieutenant; Grenice repeated the oath of office before the commission, saying in the oath, “I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of New Jersey,” and pledged to “faithfully, impartially and justly perform all the duties of the office of fire lieutenant effective December 18th, 2025.” Commissioners then congratulated him and family members posed for photographs.
The commission voted to approve Resolution 25-377 appointing Homie Quinoni Quinones as police lieutenant and Resolution 25-378 appointing Gabriel Henel as police sergeant. Both officers repeated the standard oath required for their offices and were congratulated by the commissioners.
The motions to adopt the promotion resolutions were made and seconded on the floor and approved by roll call with Commissioner Langra, Commissioner Mento and Mayor Creel voting yes on each resolution.
The oath ceremonies included brief remarks and photo opportunities with family and department representatives following the formal swearing in. No additional personnel actions or disciplinary matters were recorded during the meeting.
The commission then resumed the workshop portion of the meeting to consider routine resolutions and capital-project items later on the agenda.
