Dr. Sakowski also said the state has a new vendor for assessment materials and the district will participate in field testing this fall. “Pearson is no longer the company and there’s a new company that got the contract,” he said, explaining that field tests are required to validate new questions and that testing windows will remove some classroom time.
He closed by noting athletic schedule changes driven by an officials shortage and reminded the public of convocation for staff on the eve of school opening.
