During the public-comment period, Bruce Bingala of 81 Ledgerwood Parkway asked whether the district uses assessed values or the state-determined equalized ratios when splitting regional levies, noting local tax shifts he said had reached roughly 26% in one municipality. A district representative responded that, as a regional district, the split uses the equalized value determined by state and county for levy apportionment and offered to have central office follow up with specific numbers.
Robert Fraser of 37 Chimney Ridge Drive pressed the board about a May 17 security incident at the high school and said progress on a promised vestibule had not been completed since a June 9 discussion. In response, Dr. Mucci, the district superintendent, said foundation and preparatory construction work were complete but the glass storefront and doors were delayed by the manufacturer; she said the district expects the vestibule to be operational within about three weeks and will send a detailed letter explaining the delay.

Central office offered to follow up with residents who requested more detailed tax-allocation calculations. The superintendent said the district will circulate a written explanation of the vestibule delay and project status. The board adjourned after completing the agenda.
