The district reported an increase in graduation rates across high schools to 95.1% and slight decreases in suspension and expulsion rates; chronic absenteeism was reported as having decreased significantly.
The report noted East Stan Continuation High School qualified for the state's equity multiplier funds; the district said those funds allowed the hiring of an additional English teacher at that site and that ELA scores at that site rose more than 6% during the reporting period. Oakdale Charter’s performance metrics were described as more variable because of a smaller and more fluid student body.
Trustees were told a complete LCAP review with full metrics will be presented at the May board meeting when the district has completed data collection.
