A board member moved to approve the academic calendar for 2627 as presented. After brief discussion, the board voted: Diane yes; Nancy yes; Don yes; Holly yes; Becca yes. Chair confirmed the motion carried. Prior to that, the consent agenda was moved, seconded and approved by unanimous voice vote.
Board members noted one calendar detail: October 12 will be a student/staff closure while year‑round employees will work (contract day). Staff said the finalized calendar materials and related SIA documentation will be placed in the board book for review. Members also asked staff to add a language‑access update to the next information and discussion section.
