For the Route 10 resurfacing (Earl Street to the East Hampton line), a MassDOT representative described routine milling and repaving over roughly 1.4 miles and said work would remain within the existing state highway layout with no increase in impervious area. Commissioner motioned and seconded a negative determination (checking box 5 — a minor activity/exempt), and the commission approved the determination on a unanimous roll-call vote (Paul yes; Downey yes; Beth yes; Mason yes).
On the Glendale Road Notice of Intent, after a full presentation, technical Q&A and extended public comment, the commission first closed the hearing by unanimous roll call and then voted to issue an order of conditions. The order carries the commission’s standard conditions for jurisdictional resource areas and a specific condition asking the applicant to notify the commission of any deviations from the proposed trail routing prior to construction and to report the final trail routing after construction.
The commission also issued a certificate of compliance for a previously permitted project at 115 Industrial Drive after staff reported that as-built conditions matched plans once snow cover cleared; the motion passed unanimously. Finally, the commission voted to accept the rear portions of the Glendale cluster property as open space to be deeded to the city for conservation custody; the acceptance was unanimous.
