The City Council unanimously approved its consent calendar by roll-call vote, enacting five items in a single motion. Approved items included minutes from prior meetings; approval of a third amended and restated agreement for services administering the Burbank Tourism Business Improvement District; the Downtown Burbank PBID Fiscal Year 2026 annual report; the Burbank Bus Comprehensive Operations Analysis; and authorization to relaunch an updated Green Choice Program.
Councilmember Jamie Keyser had urged approval of the TBID agreement earlier in public comment, noting the TBID’s role in driving visitation and hotel occupancy through marketing and visitor services. The council vote was recorded as yes by Councilmember Perez, Councilmember Rosati, Vice Mayor Mullins, and Mayor Takahashi.
What’s next: The consent items will proceed to implementation by the responsible departments; staff will follow up on the Burbank Bus plan and Green Choice Program per normal implementation procedures.
