Mick disclosed that she returned to Nevada carrying roughly $50,000 in debt tied in part to prior gambling-related liabilities and moving expenses; she reported in the hearing that she has reduced the balance to about $36,000 and expects to lower it further by mid-year through ongoing extra payments.
ECL representatives and board members praised Mick’s management, noting Mesquite’s recent win increases and local staff retention. The board asked about managerial reporting lines and internal controls; agents reported no concerns and the motion to approve passed on the record.
