The Board of Education of Perry Local School District approved its consent agenda covering items A–R, which included the recommended 2026–27 phase‑in schedule for preschool through fourth grade, multiple personnel approvals (leaves of absence, appointments, resignations and substitutes), supplemental position appointments and updates to exempt and administrative employee benefits.
During the chief financial officer’s report, the board reviewed the February 2026 financial reports and accepted a tax budget resolution certified by the Lake County Budget Commission. The CFO also presented a two‑year purchase agreement with Benchmark Education for $16,233 to provide Ohio‑required high‑quality instructional materials (HQIM) for fifth‑grade English language arts; the district indicated the expense will be budgeted from the curriculum account.
A motion to approve the consent agenda and the financial items was moved and seconded, and roll call votes were recorded. Board members voting in favor included Mrs. Greger, Mr. Light and Mrs. Presley among others recorded on the roll call; the items were approved.
Board members also discussed a resignation from the district’s recreation board representative and agreed to solicit additional applicants and consider reappointment at a future meeting. The board announced spring break (March 30–April 6) and set the next regular meeting for Monday, April 13, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. in the Car Center conference room.
