County court handles multiple pleas, deferred-adjudications and a revocation leading to prison time

The 187th District Court resolved multiple case-level dispositions during the docket session, accepting negotiated pleas and deferred-adjudication agreements in several matters and granting the state's motion to revoke supervision in at least one case.
In one matter the court took an application for deferred adjudication on a controlled-substance charge, read the admonishments, accepted stipulated evidence and deferred a finding of guilt under the negotiated terms that included community supervision, program evaluations and conditions such as no possession of firearms. Defense and the state confirmed the terms on the record and the court accepted the plea and accompanying conditions.
Separately, the court addressed a motion to revoke community supervision in two consolidated causes involving Amadan Smith. Smith pleaded true to an alleged violation of condition 40; counsel told the court the parties had agreed to revoke supervision and impose a prison sentence. The judge revoked supervision and imposed a multi-year term (the court stated a three-year sentence in the record), ordered credit for any time served and requested placement considerations including the therapeutic community and mental-health unit.
The courtroom also issued judge's warrants for absent defendants in several matters (including Rudolphpho Palma Jr., Maverick Inis and Ruby Louise) after announcing they had not answered the docket and deputies confirmed the absences.
These dispositions were recorded on the docket, with the court ordering probation and administrative follow-up where applicable and setting future dates for other cases that were reset.
