Mayfield Heights City Council on March 9 unanimously approved a preliminary site plan for a Sprouts Farmers Market at 5906 Mayfield Road.
Katherine Holm of Kimley-Horn, the applicant’s representative, told council Sprouts Farmers Market — a national retailer operating in 24 states — will anchor the development and that the project includes an 8,000-square-foot future retail pad for which a tenant has not yet been finalized. “We are super excited to work with the city on this and we'll entertain any questions,” Holm said in a brief presentation.
Planning staff recommended preliminary approval; council voted in favor without substantive changes. Staff noted that additional permitting, tenant selection for the retail pad and final site-plan approvals remain future steps in the review process.
