He also described an on‑site noise mitigation step: the city approved a contract with Thompson Fence to install a 10‑ft cedar screen around an HVAC unit, with room to add sound baffling if needed; staff said measured noise levels did not exceed 64 decibels over a two‑month check.
Commissioners thanked Ryan for his work and asked about bookings and staffing; Ryan said bookings remain strong and that he expects to name a hire soon. The commission offered no formal action; staff will continue hiring and implement the fence work in spring.
