San Bruno council approves consent items, final maps and committee appointments

The San Bruno City Council unanimously approved the consent calendar on March 11, 2025, including adoption of a resolution approving the final map and authorizing the city manager to execute an improvement agreement for the Highlands Ridge Project at 850 Glen View Drive.

During appointments to boards and commissions, the council appointed "Jessica" (first name given in the record) to the San Bruno Community Foundation; selected Steve Panelli to the Emergency Preparedness Committee; and filled the Parks & Recreation Commission youth representative vacancy. Nominations, seconds and majority votes were held as described by the mayor; all appointments passed by unanimous vote.
Developer representative Daren dler of City Ventures spoke during public comment to provide a Highlands Ridge timeline: about six months for site work and another 12 months for vertical construction, and confirmed the developer will follow code-required public notification to neighbors.
The council recorded the consent and appointment votes as unanimous (5–0).
