While this project alone will not fully meet the village’s 10‑year storm ponding standard without future work on East Woodland Road, staff recommended the contract based on the marginal but meaningful improvement to drainage and the need to repair failing infrastructure. DK Contractors has recently completed village work and is qualified to perform the project, staff said.
The board approved the award by roll call with no public opposition; staff told the board the project is budgeted in the FY2026 general fund and would be completed in April 2026.
