Supervisor Lawford asked about the disposition of an unclaimed body; Marcy described the statutory process: the medical examiner submits to the district attorney's office, the county arranges respectful cremation and the county works with Potter's Field for final disposition.
No board action was required; the report was received and committee oversight will continue to ensure cost-allocation transparency under the intergovernmental agreement.
