Dr. Walsh said she spent several days at a Penn State leadership forum focused on artificial intelligence and leadership skills and that she will return with ideas for the district.
“Our focus this week has been on artificial intelligence and on leadership skills and qualities,” Dr. Walsh said. She added she is “coming back with some really great ideas to feed forward to our district to help us find our next best with artificial intelligence guiding our teachers and students and tapping of the leadership potential that we have.”
Dr. Walsh did not specify particular programs, timelines or budget implications for adopting ideas from the forum. She framed the visit as an opportunity to gather approaches the district might consider to support instruction and leadership development.
